Nikolaos Tsiouvaras

Dr. Nikolaos Tsiouvaras is Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Sunlight Group. He heads up the research and development of the Lithium Products Division in Sunlight’s Innovation Centre. Nikos joined Sunlight in 2020. Prior to that he worked at BMW AG in the Battery Technology Project as Project Manager and held the role of COO at GAMy GmbH, a company he founded. Dr. Tsiouvaras holds a Postdoctoral Fellowship from Technische Universität München, Germany, in Technical Electrochemistry, and a Ph.D. in Catalysis in Fuel Cells from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
