Biography

Marta Martínez is the Cero Generation’ CEO, the Macquarie’ pan-European renewable platform, with presence in 8 countries and a more than 15Gw pipeline as well as 1Gw of assets under construction or operation.
She is a reputable non-executive director and senior advisor for several companies owned by different International Infrastructure and Private Equity funds, as well as private investor in digital startups.
Behind her professional career, with experience in consultancy, automotive, telecommunications and energy sectors, there is an entrepreneur mindset, being co-founder of a telecommunications company called “Comunitel” in 1998 (currently part of Vodafone) as well as co-founder of T-Solar in 2007 (an international renewable company focused on the development, financing, management, and operation of Solar generation facilities).

Specialized in developing and financing projects and in M&A transactions, she became CEO of T-Solar in 2011 and was responsible for the firm’s internationalization process, opening new business in 6 countries. She covered the CEO role during the entry and the exit of the USA Infra fund I Squared in T-Solar achieving a well-recognized value creation.
Certified by the Spanish Board Directors Association (IC-A) in “Good Corporate Governance”, finished with success the Program of “Digital Transformation” by The Valley, Marta has a bachelor’s honors degree in Business Administration and is certified by IESE in programs of leadership and board of directors.
