Angelos Gkanoutas-Leventis

Angelos is one of the founders and current president of the Greek Energy Forum. Angelos brings a rich commercial experience which he has developed across a number of leading national and international oil and energy companies – bp, Petrobras, ADNOC. He has a passion for digital energy, transformation – be that digital / corporate / cultural – and beyond commodity business models which he is currently developing as part of the net zero ambition of the bp organisation. In parallel, Angelos is very active in the entrepreneurial/start-up environment as a founder and mentor. Angelos’ background is in behavioural economics, having completed his PhD with a focus on the relationship between the financial market and oil, and is a published author of the book ‘ spikes and shocks’ and various articles and publications.
