Biography

Alex is the Chief Operating Officer of Blue Grid, the leading downstream LNG and clean fuels supplier in SE Europe, based in Greece. He is also the General Manager of BlueFuel, a JV between Elinoil and Blue Grid, which is the first-ever LNG supplier for road transport in Greece via its national network of fueling stations.
Furthermore, Alex is a co-founder of the Greek Energy Forum, having served as its Chairman (2013-2017) and Vice Chairman (2017-present).
In the past, he has held the positions of Freight Trader and Market Strategist (Thenamaris Ships Management), Senior Gas Analyst and Business Developer (Shell Energy Europe), Risk Analyst (Gazprom) and Energy Economics Consultant (Mott MacDonald).
Alex is a member of the UN Gas Experts of United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE). He holds an MEng in Electrical Engineering (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) and an MSc in Sustainable Energy Futures (Imperial College London).
